So as time passed my boyfriend and i really started to learn who are baby really is and what he likes and cant stand.
Here are a few things i do for my son to calm him down.
1) Warm up 1 oz of warm water and place a tea bag of manzanilla (camomile tea).
2) swaddle him/her tightly and play some soothing music like water music or some classical music like mozart.
3)Get Out of the House- Let your baby "Study" the outdoors for example watch the trees sway in the breeze, and listen to the birds chirping away and even watch the cars go by.
4)Use Your Hands- warm some lotion by rubbing it between your hands, start at his forehead and gently rub down the bridge of his nose, across his cheeks, and down his chin and neck.
5)Belt Out a Tune- try and softly sing to your baby.
6)Bath time- Try and give your baby a nice bath with some lettuce or even some lavender scented shampoo and top it off with some lavender lotion.
7)Reflection- try and hold a mirror up to your baby.
8) Tummy time- sometimes your baby gets sick of always beeing on his/her back so try and lay them on their tummy(please supervise at all times!)
Ive tried all of the tricks on this list more than once and they ALL work. My son can be a bit grumpy at times but as soon as he calms down and cracks me a smile i even forget that he was crying for a few minutes before.

This is overall a great portable swing. The legs won't wobble as long as you have them open all the way. You do have to give it a little push to start and it makes a clicking sound. I've had this swing from day one and my son loves it he even falls a sleep to the soothing sway of the swing. This swing is super easy to move around and put back together after washing. I recommend this swing to moms who don't want to spend hundreds of dollars on a swing that will only be used for short period of time. the pattern is so adorable and the colors used are neutral colors and can be used for ether a little boy or girl. I will post the link to the fisher-price web page and write information on this item as well.
F.Y.I you can also purchase this swing at your local target :)
