What i finally got my hands on.

About 3 weeks ago My boyfriend and I finally got our hand on a new ipad. We have been talking about purchasing one for a few months now talking about the pros and cons. Finally we came to a decision to go ahead and make this big purchase. So far so good it has came yo great use for both of us. My boyfriend uses the ipad for his music and drawing stuff and i use it for a few things as well i even used it tonight for my son, his mobile didn't want to turn on for some reason so i googled calm music for baby's and a awesome 20min video popped up and is now playing for him so he can sleep, actually it worked he is k.o :) . I really recommend the ipad if you are truly going to use it i really believe that it is truly worth it.

I hope this post was helpful to a few of you.
i will post a picture of the ipad and some information i got off of

Thank you for reading and GOD bless.

It’s hard to believe we could fit so many great ideas into something so thin.

A large, high-resolution LED-backlit IPS display. An incredibly responsive Multi-Touch screen. And an amazingly powerful Apple-designed chip. All in a design that’s thin and light enough to take anywhere. iPad isn’t just the best device of its kind. It’s a whole new kind of device.

LED-Backlit IPS Display

The high-resolution, 9.7-inch LED-backlit IPS display on iPad is remarkably crisp and vivid. Which makes it perfect for web browsing, watching movies, or viewing photos. With iPad, there is no up or down. It’s designed to show off your content in portrait or landscape orientation with every turn. And because it uses a display technology called IPS (in-plane switching), it has a wide, 178° viewing angle. So you can hold it almost any way you want and still get a brilliant picture, with excellent color and contrast.

Multi-Touch

The Multi-Touch screen on iPad is based on the same revolutionary technology on iPhone. But the technology has been completely reengineered for the larger iPad surface, making it extremely precise and responsive. So whether you’re zooming in on a map, flicking through your photos, or deleting an email, iPad responds with incredible accuracy. And it does just what you want it to.

Thin and Light

One of the first things you’ll notice about iPad is how thin and light it is. The screen is 9.7 inches measured diagonally. So overall, it’s slightly smaller than a magazine. At just 1.5 pounds and 0.5 inch thin,1 you can use it anywhere. And a slight curve to the back makes it easy to pick up and comfortable to hol

Up to 10 Hours
of Battery Life

To maximize battery life, Apple engineers took the same lithium-polymer battery technology they developed for Mac notebook computers and applied it to the iPad. As a result, you can use iPad for up to 10 hours while surfing the web on Wi-Fi, watching videos, or listening to music.2 While surfing the web on a 3G data network, you can get up to 9 hours of battery life.2

Connectivity

The dock connector port on the bottom of iPad allows you to dock and charge it. It also lets you connect to accessories like the iPad Camera Connection Kit and the iPad Keyboard Dock. You’ll find many accessories designed to be compatible with the dock connector port.

Audio

The powerful built-in speaker produces rich, full sound perfect for watching a movie or listening to music. iPad also comes with a headphone jack and a built-in microphone.

"Go On Treat Yourself"

So a few months back i found a few things at Walgreen's i picked up some peel off mask's by Montagne Jeunesse Face Masks . The Deep Cleansing Passion Peel Off, Chocolate Mud Masque, Warm Exfoliating Crystal Masque, and Cucumber Purifying Peel-Off Masque felt wonderful on my skin, and smelled delicious, too. The masks were easy to apply and remove and left my skin feeling smooth and refreshing. At around $2.25 each, these are affordable products you can even sometimes find them for .99 like i did . They would make great stocking stuffer's, too!

So as i applied the chocolate mask i couldn't help but want to eat it, it smelled just like chocolate frosting you would put on a cake :) .

I highly recommend this product to anyone and EVERYONE!

I will post a few photos of what the products looks like

God bless

Hook Burger Bistro

Last Friday My boyfriend and i went to eat at a new place called Hook Burger Bistro.
As we arrived we both got a little worried because we didn't know if they would have anything for us to eat(since we are both vegetarians). As we opened the doors we were greeted by a very nice worker. Hook's Decor is amazing and so modern i would have definitely been a little bummed if they didn't offer anything for us to eat. To be honest with you when we looked at the menu we totally were about to walk out b/c we didn't see anything but i asked a worker and he said we can order any burger on the menu with a veggie burger my eyes lit up and i had a smile from ear to ear.

I ordered a Bistro Burger: Roasted red peppers and onion, melted jack, avocado, lettuce tomato and honey Dijon mayo with a side order of sweet potato fries and a coke.
My boyfriend got the same thing minus the onion's and a side order of regular fries and a Perrier.

The service is awesome and the workers are super nice They come up to the table and ask how things are and if you need anything else(like a re-feel) but they give you space :) .
The owner or manager also came up to us and asked how we liked the veggie burger and to our surprise hes vegetarian as well :) .

I give this place an A for great food, presentation and service i will defiantly go again soon and even take the rest of my family.

I hope hook burger is blessed with many years.
Cheers to good joints like Hook.

Minx Nails

So i was super inspired by a few people like LADY GAGA, katy perry, rihanna, Beyonce and Blake Lively and the beautiful Minx nails they have been rocking. I couldn't find the actual Minx color that i wanted witch was a metallic minx (like the one i saw blake lively wearing) so i went to the next best thing.
I went to Sally Beauty Supply and i found some awesome metallic nails ( ill have some pictures up)
the nails that i liked were a little to long for my liking so i also purchased a nail file for acrylic nails and some glue since the nails i got came with adhesive tabs instead of glue.
So since i have a sally Beauty Supply card( its only five dollars and it last you a whole year!)
The price on the nail file and glue had a discount price.
So here are the prices of the items i purchased:

Nail Bliss nails in Metallic were $5.39
Beauty Secrets Fast drying nail glue $1.59
Beauty Secrets washable/sanitizable nail file for acrylic nails $0.89

So so far ive had the nails on for a few hours and i love them ive been getting possitive reactions from my family and friends.
They are truly a conversation starter :)
If you want to find out how easy it was to put them on take a look at my video on my youtube account http://www.youtube.com/user/SprinklesCupCakeLove.

Ill be posting some pictures of the products i purchased and the after math of my nails.

Have a great weekend everyone

8 tips to a Calmer Baby.

My 3month old baby boy can get fusy at times at first it was a little difficult for me to figure out what was wrong with him when we would elemenate the obvious.
So as time passed my boyfriend and i really started to learn who are baby really is and what he likes and cant stand.

Here are a few things i do for my son to calm him down.

1) Warm up 1 oz of warm water and place a tea bag of manzanilla (camomile tea).
2) swaddle him/her tightly and play some soothing music like water music or some classical music like mozart.
3)Get Out of the House- Let your baby "Study" the outdoors for example watch the trees sway in the breeze, and listen to the birds chirping away and even watch the cars go by.
4)Use Your Hands- warm some lotion by rubbing it between your hands, start at his forehead and gently rub down the bridge of his nose, across his cheeks, and down his chin and neck.
5)Belt Out a Tune- try and softly sing to your baby.
6)Bath time- Try and give your baby a nice bath with some lettuce or even some lavender scented shampoo and top it off with some lavender lotion.

7)Reflection- try and hold a mirror up to your baby.
8) Tummy time- sometimes your baby gets sick of always beeing on his/her back so try and lay them on their tummy(please supervise at all times!)

Ive tried all of the tricks on this list more than once and they ALL work. My son can be a bit grumpy at times but as soon as he calms down and cracks me
a smile i even forget that he was crying for a few minutes before.

Boppy

I got this amazing body pillow when i was about 6 months pregnant because i was getting back pains and sleep was getting so uncomfortable for me. Let me tell you this pillow really helped me get a good nights rest. And the best thing about this pillow is that i still use it to this day. You can also change the slip covers to this Boppy. The Total Body Pillow provides total body support before, during and after pregnancy. The unique design follows the body line to offer support and realignment for neck, belly, back and hips. The soft Pima Cotton slipcover makes washing easy.
I really recommend this body pillow for during and after pregnancy. You can find this pillow at your local Babys r us, target and motherhood store in your area i will also be posting the Boppy web page address billow with a few pictures of what the pillow looks like.

Woodland Friends

This is overall a great portable swing. The legs won't wobble as long as you have them open all the way. You do have to give it a little push to start and it makes a clicking sound. I've had this swing from day one and my son loves it he even falls a sleep to the soothing sway of the swing. This swing is super easy to move around and put back together after washing. I recommend this swing to moms who don't want to spend hundreds of dollars on a swing that will only be used for short period of time. the pattern is so adorable and the colors used are neutral colors and can be used for ether a little boy or girl. I will post the link to the fisher-price web page and write information on this item as well.

F.Y.I you can also purchase this swing at your local target :)

    immunizations.....

On Tuesday my on got his Hib and his Diphtheria, Tetanus and Pertissia Vaccines. To my surprise he did very well he cried a total of maybe 5 seconds per shot.
His doctor gave us a paper of some tips on how we can be there for our child during shots.
I will upload a copy of the paper he gave me and hopefully this will be helpful to first time mommy's. Also i was recommended to give my son 0.6 of the infant Tylenol to prevent him from getting a fever and just so everyone knows it really works . Also after the shots if you get a cold towel and you put on your child's leg or were ever they get the shot it will prevent it from swelling.

I hope this blog post is helpful :) . And remember i know its hard to hear your baby cry put just remember to try and stay calm and be strong for him/her and everything will turn out just fine.

Here is the form that was given to me by Elijah's Wonderful doctor.

    Before shots:

    • Bring your child’s immunization record.
    • Read vaccine information statements.
    • Ask any questions.
    • Bring along a favorite toy or blanket.
    • Stay calm; your baby picks up your feelings.

During shots, distract and comfort by:

    • Touching soothingly and talking softly.
    • Making eye contact as you smile at your baby.

    After shots, comfort by:

    • Holding, cuddling, caressing, or breastfeeding.
    • Talking lovingly and soothingly.
    • Asking your doctor for advice on using a non-aspirin pain reliever when you get home.

    At home:

    • Mark your calendar for your next appointment.
    • Review vaccine information statements for possible reactions.
    • A cool wet cloth can reduce redness, soreness, and/or swelling where the shot was given.
    • Observe your child for the next few days. You might see a small rash or notice a fever. If your child has any reaction that concerns you, call your doctor or seek medical attention.
    • To reduce pain or fever, your doctor may recommend you give your child a non-aspirin pain reliever.
    • Also try giving your child a sponge bath with lukewarm water to reduce fever.
    • Give your child plenty of fluids. It is normal if he/she eats less than usual for the next 24 hours.

Also this is the Tylenol i gave my son an hr and a half before his app:

    Mother's Special Blend

Right when i got pregnant.....well after telling my family and a few friends i though........ STRETCHMARKS!!!!! knowing that you ether get them or you don't( Especially if they are hereditary) I'm going to need something to butter or oil up my belly for 9 months. I knew i wanted to use something organic so the first person that came to mind was my friend Tana. I texted her asking her if she knew anything i can use and she said yes. She told me about this product that i can purchase at out local Lassen's. She told me the product was named Mother's Special Blend and it was a oil that she used when she was pregnant with her little girl. So i went to Lassen's found the product and was totally hooked. On the back of the bottle is recommends places u should put the oil before and even after the pregnancy. I always put it on after i took a shower since it recommends you to put in on your body when its nice and warm. I would definitely recommend this oil to anyone who is pregnant because is it not only safe for you but for baby as well the cool thing about this oil is that you can also massage it into your baby's skin. Mother's Special Blend is a lovely oil that contains:
    • Coconut Oil
    • Sweet Almond Oil
    • Cocoa Butter
    • Vitamin E
The smell this oil has is amazing and the feeling it leaves behind on your body is wonderful. I still use this oil and would even recommend this to woman in general. I will post a picture of the oil with its information off the Mother's Special Blend web (http://www.mothersspecialblend.com) page along with another product The brand offers for expecting mothers. I hope you enjoyed my post and it was helpful for the mommy's to be ♥ .

    Baby Einstein

Last week i bough my son this Baby Einstein activity play set. It is amazing and he seem to enjoy it very much. When i turn the light on and it plays the music he cant stop kicking and smiling.
I wanted to have this item for a while before i blogged about it to make sure i really enjoyed it and though it was work it.

The second item is a lights and melodies mirror and was given to me at my baby shower so ive had this item for about 3 months and i love it. ive used it a few times ive had the baby in my car. i love this item because it has a mirror where i can see the baby and how hes doing on the car ride.

    Closer to Nature

I came upon this awesome brand from the UK when my boyfriend and I went to go do our baby registry at our local Baby's R Us. The name of the company is Tommee Tippee. The bottles and pacifiers they offer are called closer to nature b/c of the shape and feel of the nipple its easier to make the transition from breast feeding to bottle feeding so when you go out or leave the baby with grandma you can feed him the breast milk or formula of choice. Honestly i LOVE this product My the anti-colic design of the bottle really worked for my son, he not once has got colic and that makes me one happy mommy :D . He has a a total of 7 bottle from this company now. Today i went back to purchase the blue design pictured on this blog they are adorable in person. My son has only had one pacifier since he's been born so today i purchased there pacifier as well. The pacifier was actually designed by a pediatric dentist. He still has not used it but as soon as he does ill let you know how it goes.
My son has been using this brand since he has been born so i will definitely be purchasing more items from Tommee Tippee.

http://www.tommeetippee.us ←(This is the link to the Tommee Tippee web page) So you can get more information on the products show and other amazing products they offer.

I hope this blog helps a mommy or mommy to be out there ♡.

My life at the moment ....

    A Tiny Blessing.
Wow its been so long since Ive written my thoughts down. My life has been changed for the best. Ive been blessed with a little tater tot of my own . My boyfriend and i have a baby boy named Elijah Elian Cazares and he is the best baby ever. He is 2 months now. Hes came a long way since July 3. He was 37 weeks when he was born so he was considered premature and had trouble latching on to his bottle. He had to stay in the NICU(Neonatal intensive-care unit) for two weeks i was released 3 days after i had him. I got to go visit him everyday at anytime i wanted to as if i was still a patient in the hospital. It was a little difficult to leave him but i knew it was for the best. My experience at the hospital was amazing all of my nursed and Elijah's were awesome and so sweet. I couldn't thank them enough for everything they did. I had Elijah at 2:22p.m on July 3 2010 all natural. The experience was indescribable.
Elijah has changed our lives and the experience of being a mother is awesome. The last two months ive been tired and unable to get my thoughts straight but i love it.
Elijah is truly a blessing and i cant wait to see what adventures god has in store for me and my little family.
    Good Night
